Let us introduce ourselves
We, at Rogers Dental, look forward to offering you our skilled care and advice.
Mr. Ken Rogers B.D.S., N.U.I.
Ken qualified from University College Cork in 1978 and after a short time in the UK, he returned home to join his late father in the family practice. He has over 30 years experience in the dental profession and during that time he has enhanced his skills and expertise. He is a former president and G.P. representative of the South Eastern Branch of the Irish Dental Association.
Ken has attended numerous courses over the years ranging from practice management to children’s, aesthetic and implant dentistry. Being from a hurling county Ken has had lots of experience in dealing with sports injuries and trauma. He has also travelled to London to train in cosmetic orthodontics “Six Month Smiles”.
Ken has also had the privilege of being chosen as a mentor for newly qualified dentists over the last decade. This involved a Postgraduate Vocational Training Programme where Ken enjoyed imparting both his knowledge and experience to these young people while also keeping up with current developments in dentistry.
The practice is proud to have served the people of New Ross and its environs for almost 100 years.
When he is not busy in the surgery, Ken can be found in his garden which is his pride and joy!

Dr. Mark Rogers D.M.D., S.E.
After completing a Commerce degree at University College Cork I set out to fulfil my life-long ambition of becoming a Dentist. This led me to Semmelweis University, Budapest where I graduated in 2016. During my training I gained broad experience in all aspects of dentistry from fillings and crown & bridge, to implants, cosmetic dentistry and the treatment of elderly patients. In final year I completed my thesis in the Department of Periodontology where I examined the long term success in treatment of advanced periodontal disease. Following graduation the home fires burned strongly and I returned to New Ross to join our family practice. Outside of dentistry I love the great outdoors, live music and good food shared with family and friends.
Ms. Pearl Veale RDH
Pearl graduated from UCC School of Dental Hygiene having previously worked as a dental nurse for 5 years. When visiting Pearl at the practice patients will receive advice on keeping the gums clean and disease free and will be treated in the most professional and relaxed manner. Pearl regularly attends postgraduate courses such as oral health promotion and is fully qualified in administering local anaesthetic. Outside of dentistry Pearl enjoys aerobics and keeping fit.
